Long, approximate 4 inch length spear of luscious fruit from a tree plantation. It is sweetened for the person that doesn’t care about natural everything, and just wants a satisfying taste with some nutrients. The color is a fun, standing out color, so also good for a display or arrangement with other items as well.

The texture is more jelly like then the natural papaya spears that are leathery and harder to tear and chew. This is better for a kid, maybe he/she is learning to eat fruits, so you let them have a snack like this.

It is not acidic, or overly sweet. Its sweetness is quite mellow and more like a melon.

Origins are the tropics, first discovered in Central America or Southern Mexico. If you go to some of the places within, papaya trees are everywhere! The tree is a small, sparsely branched tree with many fruits bearing at maturity.
